BASIC STEPS

The goal of each level is to collect enough money from customers to reach the specified Baker's Goal.

Customers begin with a bubble above their heads containing a Menu picture inside. They do not order a cake until they have been given a menu by Jill. To give the customer a menu, left mouse click on the bubble.

Customers that have been delivered a menu will deliberate for a short time before choosing their order. During this period their speech bubble has an animated Question Mark inside it.

Customers eventually show the image of their cake order inside the speech bubble.

Once an order is placed, Jill will need to bake, frost and decorate their cake in the specified order.

  1. Click on the ordered cake shape on the oven.
  2. When the cake has finished baking, click on the cake to pick it up.
  3. Click on the appropriate frosting color on the froster.
  4. If a topping has been ordered, pick up the cake from the frosting station by clicking on it, and take it to the decorating station. Click on the appropriate decoration and wait for the cake to finish.
  5. Click on the cake to pick it up, then the customer bubble to serve them the finished cake.
  6. After they leave, pick up the cash left behind on the counter by clicking on it.

Customer satisfaction is measured by displaying hearts at the edge of their speech bubble. Hearts disappear over time, but can be replenished by other factors (customers, treats, television shows, etc.). The more hearts they have when their cake is finally delivered, the larger a tip that will be left for Jill. Certain customers will have an effect on others, such as reducing their hearts more quickly, or even increasing their hearts upon arrival.

Some customers will arrive in pairs. Paired customers function as a new single customer with a double speech bubble.

Customers enter at regular intervals throughout the level. Jill gives them menus, after which they decide on what kind of cake they would like. Jill bakes the cake, frosts it, then decorates or stacks the cake as desired, before serving it to the customer. She can only hold one cake at a time, but her off hand can still be used to deliver menus or operate machinery.
