This is the service update 15.037 for CINEMA 4D and BodyPaint 3D R15.
This update is highly recommended for all R15 users as it contains many improvements and fixes.
BodyPaint
- Layer thumbnail is displayed properly.
Modeling
- Point extrude value change now works correct with the arrow buttons.
- Issues in the modeling tools related to the Undo command are resolved.
- Issues involving Axis Workplane and parametric objects are now resolved.
- Spline tangent editing in Viewport follows cursor correctly.
- All points in imported splines can now be deleted.
- Bevel operation doesn't produce unexpected distortion anymore.
- Wrong sliding with preserve curvature for Slide tool is fixed.
- Bevel error with small offsets is now resolved.
- Bevel tool can handle all offsets properly now.
- Bevel sub-selection and hidden faces issue is resolved.
- Slide tool is not exhibiting any display issues anymore.
- Project Info Structure: Issues with the N-gon selection is resolved.
- Quantize and guides work properly now.
- Bevel tool works correctly with boundary geometry.
- Fit to parent is now working correctly with spherify deformer.
- Bevel tool producing holes when working on quads has been fixed.

- Slide tool with Shift key modifier when in proportional mode issue is resolved.
- Issue with random erratic "jumping" bevel edges has been sorted out.

Sculpting
- Artifacts appearing while baking RGB displacement maps have been resolved.
- Issue with the steady stroke in brushes is solved.
- Brush Falloff Preview after using smooth now behaves correctly.
- Sculpt layers auto naming problem has been sorted out.
- Stencils now don't exhibit additional angular movement after mouse click release.
- Stencil now works properly with images containing Alpha channel.
- The function of the Texture Projection tag got enhanced.
- Falloff Reset button: Now the stamp preview gets updated accordingly.
- Resym now works correctly.
- Flatten brush with rectangle fill issue is resolved.
- Lines in Line mode not show anymore if brush is disabled.
- Inflate brush with flood option now updates and undo works as expected.
- Inflate interactive flood is more precise now.
- Stencil removal is refreshed correctly in Viewport.
- Amplify brush pressure works properly now.
- Undo now also resets the mask color for Sculpt tag.
- Mask color can now be changed through the HUD.
- Brush falloff function with certain sculpting tools doesn't lead to incorrect results anymore.
- Separate Spline GUI for brush falloff is now refreshing as expected.
- Smoothing the mask using fill mode now works properly.
Objects
- Kerning GUI orients correctly with plane orientation now.
- SplineWrap now uses the full range of the spline.
- All points in a spline can now be deleted.
MoGraph
- Performance of MoGraph Fracture object has been greatly increased.
- Correction Deformer now works with MoGraph.
- Multi-shader colors are now properly refreshed in viewport during playback.

- Grass tag now shown correctly in scenes that use XRefs.

- Alembic: Fixed issues with offset of objects in complex scenes.
- Alembic limitations with splines in array resolved.
- Alembic now exports splines correctly in conjunction with symmetry object.
- Alembic crash on quit resolved.
- Alembic: Exporting deformed subdivision surfaces will not cause object offsets anymore.
- Morphs can now be imported and exported with FBX correctly.
- FBX exports now supports light decay/falloff.
- FBX export now supports Area lights.

- Issues with the Python loader and UTF 8 have been fixed.
- Command "splinehelp.GetVertexMatrix()" now does accept correct index.
C++ API
- Issues with the command for SplineData::SetKnot() causing impossible loops have been addressed and solved.
CINEMA 4D SDK
- Issues with the memory allocation have been fixed.
- The function "MemoryTo String" now works also with less than 1 GiB (Gibibyte).
- Make IpAddr and IpAddrPort streamlined to be compatible with future SDKs.
Renderer
- Material: Vertex maps work properly in Displacement channel now.
- Material: Material previews are not producing huge file sizes anymore.
- Material: Copying in Layer shader issues are resolved.
- Material: Animated material on a Background object is now showing the animation.
