Selector
Selector is a tool which has a multiple purpose:

Freehand
The Freehand is used for creating freehand objects. In order to create freehand object, simply click on position on canvas where you want the object to begin and move the mouse (while holding the mouse button) in the desired direction. When you release the mouse button, two red points will appear on the ends of the object (first and last points).

If you wish to continue with drawing the object you started, click on one mentioned red points and without releasing the mouse button keep moving the mouse to the new desired position - if the new desired position is the starting point, the object will become closed.

Note1: Moving of control points of the drawn object is possible by selecting Selector tool and selecting just drawn object. After this action, control points will appear which you can move in desired direction.

Note2: If there are open objects on the canvas, in the moment of choosing Freehand tools, end points of all open objects will be colored red. Simply click on red point and drag freehand line in order to continue with drawing of the selected object.

Line
Line is a tool used for drawing lines. Lines are drawn by clicking on desired position on canvas and then releasing the mouse button (in this way you are setting the first point of the line), and then clicking on the other desired position on canvas (in order to determine the second point of the line). After this action, the program will draw the line between these two points. After every new click on canvas (which defines a new point of the line), the program will draw a new line between the last point and just defined new point.

In order to close the object, simply move the mouse over the first point of the object (mouse pointer will become a plus symbol) and click on this point.

In the process of drawing a line, each of control points between the lines can be dragged in desired direction. Simply move the mouse to the desired point, click on it and drag it in the desired direction. If the first i.e. end control point is dragged & dropped on the end i.e. first control point of the object, object will become closed.

After every new click on canvas (which defines a new point of the curve), the program will draw a new curve between the last point and just defined new point.
