Home > Model Nodes > Data Used for Model Build > Viewing and Changing Data U... > Input Tab of Build Editor > Manual Inputs
To specify inputs manually, unselect Determine inputs automatically (using heuristics). You can make changes as follows:
If you do not want to use an attribute as input, go to the Input column and click the output icon . The entry in the Input column changes to the ignore icon
. The attribute will not be used (ignored). Similarly if you click
in the Input column, the icon changes to
, so that the attribute is used in model build.
To change Mining Type of an attribute, go to the Mining Type Column and click. Select a different Mining Type from the list that is displayed.
Text mining types are Text and Text Custom. Select Text Custom to create a column- level text specification.
By default, Automatic Data Preparation (ADP) is performed on all attributes. If you do not want automatic data preparation performed for an attribute, go to the Auto Prep column and click the check. If you turn Auto Prep off, you are responsible for data preparation for the attribute.
Note: If the mining type of an attribute is Text or Text Custom, you cannot deselect ADP. |
