Add a Node

To add a node to a workflow either drag the node from the Components window or click the node, move to the workflow, and click again.

When the node is added to the workflow, some properties of the node are initialized. The most obvious property that is initialized is the name of the node. You can change the default node name by selecting the name and typing the new name.

In all cases, a node is initially in an invalid state. An node that is in an invalid state has some properties that must be specified before it can be used or run. An invalid nod is highlighted in red to indicate that it is invalid. To see what properties must be provided, float the cursor over the node; a tool tip show the validation messages generated for the node.
