Follow these steps to see which columns are selected by Data Miner and what mining type is assigned for each selected column:
Connect the Data Source to the Model node. Right-click the Model node, and select Run.
Launch the Advanced Settings dialog in one of these ways:
After the model build completes, right-click the model node and select Edit.
The edit dialog opens. Click Advanced.
After model build completes, right-click the model node and select Advanced Settings.
The Advanced Settings Dialog opens. This dialog has two grids. The Model Settings grid at the top lists the models built by the node. The lower part of the dialog is a tabbed display. The grid in the Data Usage tab contains information about which columns are selected for model build and the mining type used for model build for each column.
In the upper pane, unselect Auto for all of the models.
To see which columns are used as input for the model build, select the model. In the lower pane, the Data Usage tab indicates the attributes used in model build by a check mark in the Input column of the grid. If there is no check mark in the Input column, the attribute is not used.
You can change data usage information on a per-model basis or you can change the data usage for several models at the same time.
To change data usage for several models, select the models (using CTRL-Click). The just make the changes and click OK when you are done. The changes are made to data usage for all selected models.
Note: You can also turn Auto Data Prep off. This is not recommended. If you do this, you must ensure that the input is properly prepared for each algorithm. |
