The ISNAN function returns a value that indicates if a the value of a numeric expression is the special NaN
value.

Return Value
BOOLEAN
Returns TRUE
when the expression is either +NaN (or -NaN when NOT
is not specified); otherwise it returns FALSE
.
Note: The OLAP DML converts+NaN or -NaN values to NA when it performs calculation. Consequently, this function can only possibly return TRUE when executed against data that has been imported into an analytic workspace from a SQL-populated database but not yet used in an OLAP DML calculation. |
