MAINTAIN ADD

The MAINTAIN command with the ADD keyword adds new TEXT, ID, and INTEGER values to a non-concat dimension, composite, or partition; or adds a new temporary calculated member to a dimension.

Note:

You can also issue a MAINTAIN ADD for TEXT, ID, and INTEGER Values statement for a surrogate dimension that has a Maintain trigger. In this case, Oracle OLAP only executes the Maintain trigger program one time for each value; no other action occurs. See "Trigger Programs" for more information for more information. Issuing a MAINTAIN statement for a surrogate dimension that does not have a Maintain trigger, returns an error.
