You create an Update Table node to update an existing table with data from a selected columns in the table. You can connect an Update Table node to any node that creates a data flow, such as an Apply node.
Follow these steps to create an Update Table node:
If it is not already open, open the Components window using View > Components. Select Workflow Editor.
In the Workflow Editor, expand Data, and click Update Table.
Click; move the mouse to the workflow; click again. An Update Table node is added to the workflow.
Move the mouse to the node in the workflow that produces the data flow to update. Right-click the node, and select Connect from the context menu.
Draw a line to the Update Table node; click again.
The Edit Update Table Node opens. Define the characteristics of the Update Table node.
You can either accept the defaults for table update as described in Update Table Node Automatic Behavior or you can make changes to the defaults by launching the Edit Update Table Node dialog.
To update the table, right-click the Update Table node, and select Run from the context menu.
After execution completes, view the results by right-clicking the node and selecting View Data from the context menu.
