Home > Data Nodes > Data Source Node > Explore Data Node > Graph Node > New Graph Dialog > Histogram
Click Histogram to specify a Histogram. A histogram plots the values of a selected attribute (X axis) against frequency counts (Y-Axis).
For a Histogram, specify the following Histogram Settings:
Title is the title of the graph. You can use the default title or you can enter a different title.
Comment is an optional comment that describes the graph.
Specify the following Histogram Settings:
X-Axis: Select one attribute to be the X-Axis of the graph. This attribute is handled using either Top N, or Binned (the default). To specify handling, click Settings (Graph).
Group By: Click the check box to select an optional group by attribute. This attribute groups values in the bin (stack the bar).
To specify how the group by is performed, click Settings (Graph).
By default, a histogram with a group by attribute is displayed as a Stacked Bar Graph. Click the Stacked Bar Graph icon and select
the Dual Y Bar Graph icon.
If you specify an invalid value, a message explains what the problem is.
After you complete the definition, click OK. The first time that the Graph node runs, it collects statistics. Once you have created a graph, you can edit the definition.
