Perform Grant Action (Cube)

Users must have privileges on both the cube and the analytic workspace before accessing the data in a cube. To query the data, users must have SELECT access on the cube view.

Properties

Schema: The name of the schema where the cube is stored.

Object Name: The name of the cube.

Users: The users and groups to whom you can grant access privileges.

With Grant Option: Enables the selected user or group to grant access rights to others.

Grant All: Select this option to grant all privileges on the cube. Because this option grants more privileges than the few listed in the Available Privileges field, you should grant it only to those who need full control.

Available Privileges: Lists the privileges that you can grant on the selected object. Select one or more privileges and move them between the Available and Selected fields.

Selected Privileges: Lists the privileges to be granted to the selected user or group.

Extend all cube privileges to analytic workspace Name: Grants the necessary privileges on the analytic workspace for the user to exercise the cube privileges.

Extend the SELECT privilege to the cube view: Enables the user to query the data displayed in the cube view.
